trying to propogate succulents by cuttings in winter... and suggestions?

Ensure you allow the wound to heal over as much as possible and it may be best to start them off in a mix containing a lot of sand. Should not be difficult but it may in any case be slow(er). Maybe place on a sunny windowsill if that is practicable. Either way the critical issue is making sure that only the barest levels of humidity are present in the medium.
