Right now is the optimum time to air layer this plant, but, you have to utilise rather thick (min 10mm) stems. If you keep this plant indoors, the air-layering will look very unsightly. You can also propagate this plant via tip cuttings. Use the currently growing fresh growth (about 10 - 14cm long)and root in the usual way. It will be beneficial if you take a lot of cuttings, plant them in a pot containing a mixture of horticultural sand and peat (50/50) and put the pot in a sealed, clear, plastic bag, thus creating a miniature greenhouse. Remember to open the bag for a few minutes every 24 hours, thus ensuring air circulation and air change. For further info utilise Google - mention plant and method preferred.
